ABOUT US

Traditional Krav Maga (TKM) New York was founded in January 2014 by Head Instructor Eliran Cohen, Dan 4 Black Belt. 
Its primary mission is to deliver the proven Krav Maga skills of self-defense and violence suppression/prevention, while simultaneously improving physical fitness. 
TKM succeeds in doing both for its community and has now expanded to Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

Guardian Self Defense (GSD), a nonprofit based in Brooklyn, has partnered with TKM since 2020 to deliver essential training to the men and women of Crown Heights. 
With the growing need of training in today's climate, the GSD Directors - Ben Cousin and Yossel Friedman - have launched Brooklyn TKM to serve the greater population, including providing access to children's training.
